Family Photography at Myrick Park in La Crosse, WI

Both as parents of three young kids and photographers, we really love Myrick Park in La Crosse, WI. Not only is there an amazing playground for the kids, but there is also an incredible area to take photos.

I was so excited when Chris contacted me to do a family session this fall with his wife and two delightful girls. He had looked through our previous shoots and wanted something similar to a previous session where we used professional lighting to create a beautiful golden sun on an otherwise dreary day.

We started out near the Myrick Park Center and headed for an area where they have these beautiful tall grasses that look incredible when backlit. In a relatively small space, we were able to move to the barn, lake, and one of the most amazing willow trees in La Crosse.
